I visited with my parents on a Sunday evening around 6:30 PM, and there was already about a 30-minute wait. We had made reservations, and I’d definitely recommend doing the same if you’re planning to visit during peak hours. We ordered the Beef Combo, and the quality of the meat was excellent. There was a good variety of side dishes, and everything paired well with the meal. My favorite cut was the striploin—it was incredibly tender with a satisfying chewy texture. Even the chadol (brisket), which can sometimes be tough, was tender. The service was fast and attentive. The staff will cook for you should you want.

One of Baekjeong's locations at Irvine, pretty close to UCI. Ordered their "Hongdong's Favorite Combo", Thin Sliced Brisket, Boneless Short Ribs, Pork Belly, Marinated Pork Steak, served with Soy Bean Soup, good meats, good seasonings, good services. Enjoyed my meal here. Very good meal, while the AC was broken, so to have BBQ at more than 34 degrees Celsius is kind of 😂

Top tier Korean bbq restaurant where they cook everything for you and you just get to relax and enjoy. The meat quality is superb and the best option is the beef/pork combo. The side dishes are limited but easily made up for by the main dishes. The place gets very busy so it is best to make a reservation. The entire vibe is casual and all of the servers greet you when you walk in. Really great experience, service, vibe, and food. Best part is the ventilation above the grill is great and sucks up all the smoke effectively

Good food and good service. We ordered Hodong combo small and it was enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Besides the 4 plates of meat there’s soup, steam egg , steam corn mixed with cheese. There was a server who did the grill for us. He’d come and check on the meat often and ask if we needed anything else.

We had an amazing service by Khue N today for a busy Mother’s Day lunch rush. He was attentive and friendly. Been here many many times and the service has been consistently great but Khue stood out for his attentiveness and friendliness. The food and service is why I return to this particular location time and again.
